A history of
tradition
and passion

1953
The beginning of our story. Giovanni Martimucci becomes a respected grain trader at the national and international levels. Over the years, he collaborates with numerous mills and begins to nurture the dream of creating his own Martimucci Mill.

1986

Martimucci mill is born, and a dream comes true. 0n reaching the age of majority of the children, the brothers Giuseppe, Michele and Salvatore, started the transition from being simple traders to cultivating and processing our own wheat. This has allowed us to control numerous factors in producing top-quality semolina and flour, starting right from excellent raw materials and the concept of supply chain.

1995

From the mill to the pasta factory. Our ambitions drives us towards a brand new line of products. A factory completely dedicated to fresh pasta realized exclusively with our semolinas, designed for a unique product. Pastificio Martimucci is among the very first producers in all of Italy to implement the integrated supply chain: our very short supply chain.

2001

A dedication to our region. We are among the founding members of the Consorzio per la Tutela e la Valorizzazione del Pane di Altamura (Consortium for the Protection and Enhancement of Altamura Bread), recognized as a PD0 (Protected Designation of Origin) product in 2005.

1997

The pride of being the first. Our mill achieves an important milestone: it becomes one of the first agri-food companies in Italy to obtain the UNI EN-ISO 9001 Management System Certification.

2016

Growth means improvement. We invest heavily in new technological advancements and introduce innovative machinery into the Mill’s production line, allowing us to increase daily wheat milling production from 1,800 to 3,000 quintals.

2023

Always keeping up with the time. The process of expansion and technological updates continues. The production at the Pasta Factory is enriched with a new and highly technological 4.0 line capable of increasing overall production from 20,000 to 60,000 kg per day, with a line entirely dedicated to experimental and innovative products.
