Martimucci Maccheroncini represent the entire Apulian tradition of the most widespread fresh pasta shape in Italy. In fact, every region offers its interpretation. In Puglia, maccheroni are rolled and open: a typical shape that, in the past, was created by Salento housewives by rolling small pieces of dough around narrow kitchen utensils.
